Aisha Weinhold (she/her)

I burst forth from my mother’s vagina a screaming Aries in the midst of a tempestuous thunderstorm and have moved through the world with that same electricity ever since.

I was born on the southern coast of Oregon and moved to the mountains when I was nine. While the mountains shaped who I am today, my earliest memories are of being wrapped in a sand-laden blanket, wind tangling my hair as I watched my Dad ride his ivory board on waves so dark they blended into the endlessly storming sky. The ocean has always had my heart and every time I surrender to the deepest undercurrents of life, I never regret where I am led.

As a white-passing Latina, I know what it’s like to not be taken seriously in business. I founded and served as the Executive Director of No Man’s Land Film Festival: an all-woman and gender non-conforming adventure film festival. For eight years, my team and I brought the festival to over 1000 cities around the globe, radically shifting the representation of women and genderqueer athletes in the adventure film world and broader outdoor industry.

In 2020, I took full ownership over a consignment outdoor gear store in Carbondale, Colorado: Ragged Mountain Sports that I had co-owned since 2015.

My resume also includes serving on the board of Diversify Outdoors, facilitating a safe and powerful container on Janne Robinson’s Truth Team and achieving ICF Life Coaching Certification through Martha Beck Inc.

My path has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride, but the freedom business and coaching affords me has been life-changing. The contemporary landscape is not built for us, but that is changing. I am here to celebrate you and your immense package of passion, inspiration, riot, rebellion, independence, strength, grit and heart. LFG.
